Sarada is a reflection of Itachi [theory]

Much like her uncle the themes of moon and sun are central to her character despite not being obvious. She has Sasuke's power but Naruto's will, Uchiha chakra but the body potential of a Senju.


What is the best way to represent the balance of moon and sun with a character ? The answer is dojutsu, when Kishi designed Sarada's eye he purposefully chose the pattern of a sun, dojutsu represents strong Yin affinity and is symbolized by the Moon whereas the Sun represents Yang affinity. Sarada's dojutsu is essentially a reflection of the balance between the two.

The same type of symbolism was used for Itachi's character albeit in a slightly different manner.

His Susanoo is a Yin feat (Moon) but was designed to be the same colour as the Sun, like Kurama/Naruto's chakra

Due to Sarada and Itachi both representing the balance of Moon and Sun I think it's highly likely that they will share similar feats and eventually similar avatars, there have been numerous parallels made between them and I believe there are more to come. Her goal is to become Hokage and by doing so she will full fill her uncle's will to redeem the Uchiha name.

They need to share the same status and I don't see Sarada under the same pressure Itachi was and neither was she born during a time of war so for her to reach his reasoning would take her more years of experience which we clearly still won't see it till further future

Obito also represents that symbolism but unlike Itachi he eventually gave in to hatred and the Uchiha philosophy that Madara promoted, he had Uchiha chakra and Senju body but his will was corrupted by Madara.

I agree there will be a parallel between her and Obito because she idolizes Naruto who gained his will from Obito. However the parallel between her and Obito will still act as a parallel to Itachi because of the emphasis on Moon and Sun being balanced. Itachi represented that best amongst all the Uchiha.
