I often wonder why people feel Heaven is their safe haven.

Now according to the story. satan was a angel created directly from God and was like Chief in command. He was created to be prefect without flaws.

Yet he was kicked out and fell from grace.

So if a divine being crafted from God himself to be perfection could fall from grace, what makes people think they wont as well, when they were born imperfections?

Im just tryna understand the logic.

Going to a Utopia where everyone shares the same heart as you wouldnt really solve everything.

You'd still retain the qualities you had on earth.

You'll still be lustful, you'll still have greed, you'll still have envy, you'll still have gluttony.

I dont get how you'll be saved forever. Sure you might make it into heaven. But how will you maintain it?

Do humans think all of their flaws disappear when they get to heaven lol?

I am a Christian but I feel as though heaven would be uncomfortable to me. Living forever is torturous to me.

Heavens not real, when we die we either 1 cease to exist, 2 move on to a new plain of existence(one that isnt joyful and is similar to earth..over populated with ignorance), 3 reincarnate, 4 we wake up in a time of our life before and reset life without knowing it (dreams are the key).

good question and probably(in a sense that your only allowed if you literally did nothing in your, life) , anything considered living is basically a sin , we are said to all been fallen angles in the great fight between satan and god and us living in this world now is to repentance for sideing for satan. but god being the Nice guy he is he gave us a second chance we call earth and can move back with our father if we obey his visions and ideal or be casted to satan, kinda like hilter and his brain washing.

just like DBS gods and angles are no more than spectators

The only thing you should understand is that they're just stories.

I see what you mean but I don't believe us as humans enjoy life simply because death is in our faces. Tbh, we often forget about it. We're generally happy as long as we're moving somewhere towards a goal but you would think that heaven would have something covered for that.

An endless existence eliminates the need for goals, for there to be an end. I am naturally mortal, and my ancestors are mortal, it is in my nature to prefer a mortal existence regardless of any interest I might have in the concept of immortality. In heaven, I'm going to be alive forever doing the same things forever and everything will be great all of the time. To me, that sounds horrifying and I believe I'd end up bored and insane from such a life.

There won't be any surprises or disappointments, the mystical things humans came up with on their own are abominations to God, and as a human, I can't help but feel like I won't be all that interested in the mystical things God will create. There won't be any fun stories to tell in Heaven, as I'll soon forget my mortal life after thousands of years in heaven and because everyone is having the same experience and everyone is perfect, there won't be new information that one person knows that another doesn't. If everything is fun, there won't be any funny stories to tell, it'd be an existence that I don't feel we as humans are wired for.

If everything is perfect, then it would be really boring.
Humans like to look for imperfections, problems, and we like to fix them.
If everything is perfect, then there is no room to improve, nothing to do. You can never get better at anything, you can never challenge yourself. You can't read a book because you already know everything in all of the books. You can't play a game of competition, since it would just be a stalemate.
The only thing you really can do is watch the earth evolve, except, you already know everything that will happen.

I enjoy the idea of immortality. Death isn't as bad or as beautiful as people try to make it seem. Why would anyone want to die? And if things get unenjoyable a thousand years into immortality, shake some shit up. I will say that I would prefer to be immortal with my family. Other than that I cant see a reason why one wouldn't want to live forever.

I agree but that's an assumption of what a heaven would be. But I'd like to imagine an omnipotent God has the solution for such a thing as boredom. Idk, the whole concept is sort of weird.

In order for me to enjoy something beyond my nature I'd need to be changed into a me that wasn't cultivated by my own experiences and life lessons which means I'd turn into a different person. An omnipotent God would have to change who we are to such a degree that we aren't really us anymore.

Heaven is so beyond human nature that I think I wouldn't enjoy it. A mortal life with a touch of the supernatural is enough for a guy like me.

Omnipotence means he can do anything, including things that are beyond your own imagination and beyond the laws of nature.

With omnipotence you can create an infinite sense of euphoria so you won't get bored or you can experience an infinite amount of new sensations.

You're just not thinking big enough.

But if you know it's all just omnipotence and not the randomness if the world you live in, it dulls the experience. There's no more competition, change, disappointments. If Heaven is constant damage control through omnipotence, I'd get pretty bored and and up insane after a while.

I don't follow your logic. Omnipotence means anything. You can have anything; you can live the reality you desire or don't; you can be happy, excited, disappointed if so chose. There's infinite things to do and infinite worlds to see. Hell, I'm sure you can even reincarnate yourself.

Also you're arguing a hypothetical place which you haven't experienced, so how can you say that you will get bored as a certainty?

You are right. But I don't want to be in a world full of "oh, you wouldn't enjoy this, so let me use my omnipotence to just fix every little issue." The philosophy of that is just wrong to me and I don't really think I'd enjoy it without omnipotent damage control.

But like I said in my comment, you can reincarnate yourself or experience reality however you like, even if that includes pain, sadness, etc.

You were just saying earlier how you think you would get bored and now you're saying you don't agree with the philosophy. So why ask the question at all if you just prefer nothingness?

All due to his limited way of thinking...

plain and simple.

God has his own agenda set out in heaven. Worship him forever and ever. I'd love to have my own perfect little heaven where I'm omnipotent and mind my own business with constant reincarnation but my religion doesn't promise that in the slightest.

I didn't make this thread either.
