The person who translated the chapter made a mistake and corrected themselves. Here: "我々「殻//カラ」の悲願… The dearest wish of those of us in ‘Kara’
あの「器」はそれを成し得る唯一の鍵…… Is for that ‘Vessel’ to be able to make the unique key…*
何としてでも回収しろ Recover it at all costs
Should have been:
'That vessel is the unique key in order to be able to achieve [our greatest wish].'
For some reason we thought それ ('that thing') was referring to something else nebulous. But I think likely they meant それ to simply refer back to 悲願 ('our greatest wish')."
