[Discussion] GoT how much the story from the books is different from tv series?

I bought the series of books of game of thrones and i was wonder how much the story from the books is different from tv? Is worth to reading?

There are significant differences. The general story is the same, but there are entire plotlines cut out and characters changed.

Also Season 6 and 7 are past the books.

- Way more content regarding the story.

- Way more characters.

- We actually know what characters are thinking, we read their thoughts (this is huge plus ).

- More about history of song of ice and fire world.

- More events that don´t happen in the show.

Well, books are indeed much better than TV-series, movies and video games They give all details. I bought all S.D. Perry novels of Resident Evil, and I enjoyed them more than the games.
