Chapter 16 proves this point by him making a synthetic hand that can absorb and nullify ninjutsu just like Momoshiki's ability but in terms of releasing the jutsu he hasnt developed that part yet thus making it an early prototype that is still considerably powerfull. So far with the only two inventions under his belt this guys scientific ninja tools can make a fodder ninja top tier instantly. Thoughts?

In terms of actual inventions Katasuke is pretty talented , with Kote alone the user can perform secret techniques and kekkai genkai without using they're own chakra and now that he made a synthetic hand that can absorb and negate ninjutsu while still only being a prototype.
