I've always been asked why do i like sakura, why am I so fond of her? I just thought I'd clear it up now more than ever. I personally, found Sakura to be a very unusual character: the pink hair, no clan etc but her design was done well.
She continued growing and while I didn't grow to like her until later. However, her quotes, troubles, situations resonances well with my life, so when Kishimoto stated he added a sense of humanity to her there actually was. Like feeing like a failure or not being good enough, unlike the other characters I could relate to her and a younger me was surprisingly pleased.
Part II had me shook with her groundbreaking character development and her Sasori fight and you know watching her have her moments always made me happy because they were usually rare but amazing too. Her medical ninjutsu proficiency and the fact a little girl was capable of possessing brute strength was really cool.
Her love for Sasuke wasn't understandable, I get the Part I and early Part II stage, everyone has a massive crush or feels in love but as the series progresssed I always thought that Sasuke hindered her abilities yet at the same time her resolve to save him made her stronger.
I didn't really follow the internet in my early years so I didn't know that people actually disliked Sakura so much, and I've always been a fan of underdogs and hated characters which is strangely really weird. It's pretty hard defending a character that everyone flat out hates. I felt like everyone else wasn't seeing what I was.
BASICALLY WHY I LIKE HER: Sakura's design was really intriguing, and her average family life and personal struggles were very relatable to me and probably many others, and I'm obsessed with underdogs.
So there you go sorry for the senimental BS, no hating please
