I just lost like 50% of my brain cells reading this. I can tell this is from tumblr. Whoever wrote that must be this ignorant and didn't see every SS interaction in the anime version of Gaiden. Just cherrypicked certain ones and made it look like as if SP screwed up everything simply because it is the company handling their fav pairing. Yet SP is the one being biased?

I actually thought they we were going extend Sarada vs Shins, adding a bit of Sarada using some tai /shurikenjutsu against them, before knocking them out with CES punch. But it didn't happen. At all. Not even the punch. smh...

Don't get me wrong, I loved Sakura vs. Shin, but Gaiden is about Sarada. Should've given her the spotlight.

Okay. Sasuke and Naruto being able to shield themselves with chackra but still manage to get stabbed kinda didn't make sense to me, either. But, meh, my dependency and expectations of the anime are very low to none, so therefore I don't expect anything to be "great", ever. And I've seen worst...

The only thing about this episode is that despite of how Op the naruto series made naruto,and sasuke out to be towards the end, this series reminds people that their still only human.

I also like the whole "burying of past enemies theme" that me myself personally felt was radiating throughout the whole episode as though it were saying "The akatski is dead" "That was our childhood,not theirs" "that was then,this is now" as it proceeds to clean up the remnants of naruto, and sasuke's past with a final act as a reminder to the audience to why they became so strong in the first place.
