The fact that she and Chouchou were nearly soloed by a single Shin Uchiha already disproves that, the fact that she was taken down by a nameless puppet user proves that, the fact that Boruto saw himself forced to step in front of and protect her proves that. In no situation would Itachi canonically be defeated or lose a fight or portrayed in such a negative light in battle. Never. The author wouldn't allow it

I really love Sarada but I have to agree with this.
Kishi found a way for Itachi to beat Nagato and DSM Kabuto. If Sarada really was Itachi 2.0 she would have been portrayed in a better light.
