They rely on co-op because they're humble and respect other people's willingness to help, not because they can't solo. Sasuke and Madara both solo'd and failed.

Still cant do nothing on their own , but have to rely on borrowed power such as SM and bijuu. and how did they failed exactly ?

Sasuke still solos, and in Madara's case he got backstabbed.

Even then SM requires two toads or a clone tech which doesn't make sense. Since the clones can't adjust how much sage mode energy they're gathering relative to the user creating an imbalance. Another major plot hole.
