German is not Latin derived. Only French and Romanian evolved from vulgar Latin. German and Norwegian are from a different branch of European languages.


Anywayy, depends on your background but from a English speaking basis, German is the easiest. French, Russian, Romanian and Norwegian have a lot of inflection which is foreign to English. Obviously you could still learn them but not as compatible as German.

I thought the question was rather simple and straight forward. Wich of the following is the easiest to learn/speak. Not based on his language, or what would be the easiest for him. Wether he is Chinese or Italian, or whatever the language is he good or bad at is irrelevant.
