hell no lolxD even if i was overweight i would just except that shit. life is way too short and food is way too good to be thinking about diets, thats torturing yourself. i know people that count calories everytime they want to eat something, or can only eat certain things because...because...
i also hate excersing, i dont see how anyone could enjoy tiring yourself out. thats basically what youre doing because you have low self esteem. i could see if you had a health problem and had too to live or something..but just getting buff for no reason, like are you a spartan or hunting dinner every night? what do you need to have a bunch of muscles for, idk
but honestly i dont want to live a super long life. id rather drink, smoke and eat what i want why im here. luckily i have a high metabolism but i cant even jog around the park without coughing up a lung..i really dont see a situation where i would start working out honestly but hopefully i never reach a point where i have to make that decision
I wanna lose weight so I can feel good about myself. I feel I enjoy life more if I don't have to worry about my weight and by that I need to lose it.

Torturing yourself? You can clearly eat joyously on a diet, that "joy" however, is just simply limited.
As well diets don't last forever. Once your goals have been met you can eat whatever you want for quite awhile tbh.
I could get into this heavy, and go on for days. But all in all I'm just saying, diets don't, and aren't as "torturous" as people tend to over exaggerate they are.

Clearly you're inexperienced, or blatantly ignorant to dieting. Anyone with even a simple grasp regarding the many, many different dietary plans wouldn't say such nonsense.
There's literally diets where you can eat whatever you want for 5 days straight, and take the remaining two light.
Or the daily switch where you eat whatever one day, then a targeted amount of calories the next etc etc.
