Idk why people even take these trolls seriously. If anyone says that something is canon in the Anime w/o an actual confirmation from Kishimoto, then it's not.

Especially in regards to arcs becoming a live adaption. If Boruto uses Chidori against Shojoji instead of Lightning Tripe, I'm not calling that canon Idk why

Why you think otherwise is beyond me. Maybe because I'm a Bolt/Naruto fan which makes me lean towards the Hyuuga's, but I don't give a shit if the Anime adapts Hinata v. Momoshiki. If was off panel in the Manga and the Movie, so that's what it is.
