Probably becuase talking would solve nothing with Danzo and the other elders in the cabinet. And Hiruzen being as gullible as he is.

Fugaku has a directly link to the hokage (itachi) and easily could've relayed messages using him to ask hiruzen to meet in secret from the elders/Danzo.

I doubt Shisui would/could use KA on everyone in the office. Danzo only maybe but that's about it probably.

i didn't say everyone. I said the opposers. Which is danzo/ elders, and let's be real, they're only mad because of the planned attack on their positions. If you use force with them( tsunade did) they back off.

The best thing would be to argue for some kind of change so that they wouldn't feel persecuted anymore. Threatening with violence though wouldn't be the answer. If Itachi had not killed them someone else would have and then other villages had destroyed konohagakure.

I would have conquered the leaf and presented the seat of hokage, that I had taken as a promotion or what not from the third hokage. The Uchiha literally could have took the leaf with no casualites. Itachi, Fugaku and Shisui? Please, hell shisui could've soloed all of them himself at a glance. From the seat of Hokage I would have then tried to establish peace with the former higher ups and the Uchiha were respected so the Jonin would have had no problem with Wicked Eye Fugaku leading their country. Nothing was ever gonna be solved by doing whatever It is he wanted to do.

I doubt the Uchiha wanted an all out fight. They were outnumbered and outmatched, with the only path of action being control. They were more than likely going to control the elders and the elders were afraid of losing their power which is why they reacted so insanely to the idea of the Uchiha's rebelling.

They were made police officers so they wouldn't put their minds toward something bigger, something greater. If the Uchiha were more focused on changing the world, rather their pride in being the only clan trusted with being police officers, they would actually threaten the system set into place by the Senju.

The Uchiha were kept out of positions of power and were kept at a distance in fear of what they could do. It's like during slavery when they wouldn't allow slaves to read and learn. Freedom and knowledge causes problems and creates change. Konoha doesn't want the Uchiha to take control because the don't trust the Uchiha Clan's emotions, but then again the fact that Konoha knows about those secrets means that they've been experimenting on Uchiha corpses.

Yes they could have separated themselves aswell. If konoha would have allowed that of course, and it could have been hard to do that.
