Does anybody know why Bee and Gyuki are still alive after what momo and kin did to them?

He probably let them absorb one of his tails like he did back then, when Sasuke captured him.
Notice how Momoshiki was disappointed by the amount of chakra he absorbed.

It's a pity we don't have the full fight to find out. Although it looked like they were extracting Gyuki right out of him. And I don't think Momo and kin are that stupid since their job is to harvest the trees.

Absorbing the entire Bijuu out of Bee would result in his death.
They either didn't fully absorb the chakra out of Bee or He trolled them.

tbh both options seem pretty stupid given the fact that Momoshiki and Kinishiki are harvesting now for thousands of years.

Throughout the series, Bee and Gyuki have dealt with getting captured and Gyuki being extracted several times.

A Jinchuriki dies if the bijou has fully been extracted.
Bee and Gyuki can be in perfect sync.
Bee can be in control of Gyuki's form and the other way around likely too, seeing as Kurama can speak through Naruto.

Gyuki and Bee have tricks to make sure that Gyuki isnt completely extracted.
Losing a chunk of Gyuki's chakra vs the Otsutsuki's, but having Gyuki remaining in Bee, is enough to not die.
The problem of dying happens when the bijou is completely extracted out of the host.

Naruto could even use the bijou their powers and converse with them, while only having a little bit of most of them.
So its logic that Bee can remain jinchurki of Gyuki if he fooled those Otsutsuki.
Maybe Bee's and Gyuki can make each other their chakra look the same to fool the enemy that the Bijou has been extracted.
Similar to how Kisame and Samehada's chakra were made looking the same.

Against Madara, Gyuki made sure one of his tentacles wasnt absorbed by the Gedo statue.
Those tentacles can regen as they have been cut several times, yet returned, throughout the series.
It was enough to keep Bee alive.

Every bijou has special abilities.
This can be Gyuki his ability.
The ability to use feints and to prevent being completely extracted.
This to keep his host alive if needed and to not die (and ress) from extraction himself.

Those thousand of years dont have to say a lot about their detection skills.
Kinshiki isnt the brains and Momoshiki goes for the easy way. He doesnt train his skills. He relies on eating fruit pills and overwhelming enemies with raw power that he steals and amplifies.

Their skills to realise that Bee and Gyuki fooled them could really just be too low.
Especially if they underestimate their opponent.
Kinshiki seemed to have some good weapon combat skills though, but those dont help in detecting being fooled by Bee and Gyuki.

Momoshiki also looked bad vs Sasuke and Boruto.

Letting his right hand Rinnegan get pierced by grabbing Boruto with it and not realising it was a fake. He could have punched Boruto (shielding his rinnegan eye this way) instead of grabbing him and he should have kept an eye on where the one with the massive rasengan was.

Momoshiki even lost the clash of his orb vs the rasengan (empowered by Naruto), but held by a kid (Boruto).
Momoshiki clearly lacks experience with battles at high lvl. He likely has always relied on raw power that overwhelms his opponents. Such fights are too easy and they dont help you become more battlesmart for example.
This makes him somewhat untrained in other areas than stuff like raw power.

That's the problem mono and kin wouldn't have fallen for something so stupid.
I guess kishi and the others couldn't kill of Bee and it went down as you suggest.

The problem you have is they can measure tailed beast chakra by looking for it and the hosts. So they wouldn't fall for something so silly.

Hachibi has a massive amount of chakra, so I'm sure he pulled a substitution leaving plenty of chakra for Bee to survive.
