Shikamaru is my favourite character so naturally I have only good things to say about him. The only thing that I disagree on is the Temari pairing, she has proven to be the exact opposite of what he previously mentioned he wanted. Exactly the crazy, violent and troublesome woman that his mother and any aggressive female in his life was. I would have wished for him to have someone kind and sweet, like Hinata. And no, I am not saying they should have paired him with Hinata, just a character that is similar to her, but NOT her. Not to mention that the Shikamaru and Temari pairing also shoves Temari to the background and into the shoes of a grumpy housewife instead of, oh I don't know, a kickass instructor. Which would have been so much better to see. If anyone remembers that goofy girl with the glasses from the cypher division. THAT would have been a nice wife for him, maybe she'd look hot under those glasses. Or just any non-kunoichi really. But with this pairing there are two good characters wasted, or at least that's what I think.
Oh, and his new outfit is rubbish. Seriously, what the hell?
