What are your thoughts on Minato as a character?

I think he is too good and optimistic 3/4 of the time. and he made many mistakes that lead to shit. he's a meh character in my opinion. What about you?

Looks fragile but he's very agile. He's not the kind of guy that can take a hit so he uses speed to avoid trouble.

When was he ever too good or optimistic? Also, what did he do that led to bad things?

The only thing that I can think of is the fact that he made his son a jinchuuriki using a seal that killed him (when he probably could have found a way to survive).

Other than that, he didn't mess anything up.

I think making him absent in times he was needed most was ironic although good. But I think he's a bit dull, tbh.

I think he was made to embody pure good. Just everything about him screams that to me. It's like Kishi just is screaming in your face "HE'S A GOOD GUY, JUST LOOK AT HIS GOODNESS."

He seems like he was naturally fit to be Hokage. He has it all; power, looks. charisma, ethics. Pretty cool guy.
