First chapter of this arc I'm majorly disappointed by. Last chapter had me thinking Oda was going somewhere, this chapter shows he definitely should have ended the arc when the box exploded.

Man this arc is terrible smh, Oda literally has no idea how to end an arc.
And Sanji just leaves his crew to bake a cake with BM in hot pursuit of them? Oda wtf are you doing?
This man is about to go all the way back to Choco town to bake that stupid ****ing cake while his crew is getting chase down and eventually cornered by BM?

I really wish they would have ended it like pirates not chefs. But I guess sanji is both.

If that's the way this arc would resolve then why couldn't that have just happened early on? We all saw Sanji baking his way out of this but then Oda teased something different but ends up back here. I hope the cake fails too.
Those poor Vinsmokes, they got a pretty ok build up; advanced tech, big army, mercenary, world renown legends, they showed Ichiji and Niji residing over a destroyed town like it was lunch. This is hyping Brook and Chopper but at the same time dehyping the vinsmokes a little more.
Glad to see Brook and Chopper doing well though. I wonder how many executives there are anyway.

Lol at the people having a fuucking hissy fit over spoilers....calm the fuuck down and see how the chapter/the arc plays out before starting to biitch.....I am somewhat disappointed myself with this cooking approach and sanji not getting any real feats but Imma wait before I get my panties in a bunch

Should have??? I (like many if not most people) am not reading OP because I want to see what most people want....I am reading to see what Oda has to write
Sometimes I come in the spoiler section to read what has been said after a chapter has been released. I always notice that the spoilers are never up to par with the actual chapter, and I often see the same group of people here.
What the hell are you even doing here ? It's borderline SM to wait 6 or 13 days for a chapter and then spoil yourself with a bad script less than 1 day before the chapter releases.
Really weird mentality, can't imagine how this adds anything to the pleasure of reading a story when you already know key elements are coming. Can't think of anything else than a lack of discipline.

At the Sunny Reinforcements keep coming from the mirror. Perospero has restrained Chopper and Brook with candy and they can't move. As his body is being covered in candy, Chopper cries that he doesn't want to turn into sweets. Along comes Luffy and co who are running from BM. Katakuri predicts that his underlings will be defeated by Luffy and co, so he tells them to retreat into the mirror. Perospero makes an iron maiden out of candy, Candy Maiden to attack Luffy. However Luffy breaks it with Red Hawk. Perospero flinches due to Luffy's flames.
Katakuri faces off with Luffy. He is stuck between BM and Katakuri. Jinbe starts preparing for them to escape while Luffy takes on Katakuri. Luffy vs Katakuri begins in earnest. Pedro starts to talk to Carrot. Pedro: Carrot don't be surprised by something that's going to happen suddenly. Carrot: Eh? Pedro: Here's what I think. Luffy and the others are going to bring about the dawn of the world that our clan and Kozuki clan have awaited for the past centuries! Carrot: Centuries?
Perospero tells his subordinates to surround the coast with battleships. Nami says they can't escape by sailing out normally and prepares a coup de burst. However Perospero covers the ship in candy and prevents it.
Pedro attempts to save Luffy and co from this desperate situation. However Perospero notices and restrains him. Pedro uses some bombs that he had been hiding to take Perospero with him. Pedro: Now your magic will come undone! Farewell. The bomb goes out and Pedro and Perospero are enveloped in flames.
Break next week.
