Naruto tamed Kurama, Naruto mastered and later perfected the Rasengan in the time set for him, Naruto brought Sasuke back, Naruto became Hokage.

That's...not really true though. Naruto pretty much became the standard example as to what it means to be a good ninja in the new world he helped create, much like Itachi would've been considered before the Fourth War, and briefly Madara in the Warring States Era before that.

Not to take credit from Sasuke, but it is what it is. Naruto created a world where his ideals are the ideal, just like Hashirama once did.

And how does this affect his accomplishments in the story? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Hashirama accomplished more than Naruto did in his lifetime and he isn't the main character or even THE main character.

Because main characters usually prevail over their rivals
and Hashirama didn't accomplish more than Naruto, Naruto's goal was to surpass all hokages that includes Hashirama and he succeeded, Hashirama didn't save the world or fight Kaguya like Naruto did

Naruto failed to defeat Sasuke in battle too, he instead got defeated 3 times at least

If the academy spar is included in those 3, I'll give it to you, however the other battles with conclusions, wasn't Naruto goal to defeat him. He was never going at 100%. Also plot demanded Sasuke to win, just to build up to the final battle. That's how rivalry in some series are .

From the beginning of the series Naruto wanted to be recognized by Sasuke and everybody in creation... he got that

Sasuke wanted to Kill Itachi and restore his clan while gaining immense power... he did that.
