When he says copied he means learned, that's why he indicated that she didn't have a dojutsu before he made the comment. However, could you point me to the guide book your referencing.

I doubt it. I don't really trust Sensei when it comes to wording like that, I'm sure he actually meant that she copied it despite the second tomoe being capable to and above.

I don't know if I made the thread exactly, but if you go to Naruto Forums you can find it under the Boruto Movie spoiler thread. It's the Sarada character sheet where OD translated that she inherited her mother's abilities. I remember posting it somewhere here on NB, but I don't have it saved.

Loool so true but no I didn't mean literal copy jutsu, more like she's seen Sakura use it enough that she eventually understood how to replicate the feat.

When they were learning how to control chakra she was already ahead of her whole class, she has an understanding of how to use chakra beyond her age.

She did inherit her mother's abilities but that's not the same as being taught, I never heard of her being taught any skill by Sakura

Right, It didn't say anything about Sakura teaching Sarada CES

She gets it from Sakura, not Itachi. People just don't recognize Sakura's feats because of the hate.

I doubt Sarada copied anything, you can't copy chakra control, figured out the mechanics and just did it. Like Sakura, Sarada doesn't need to train to perform jutus.

Itachi can see through alm jutsu (meaning he knows mechanics etc).
As for learning jutsu neither did Itachi.

It's obvious that Sarada's likely to inherit her parents skills so it could be from Sakura. However other skills especially prodigious talent are not really Sasuke's but Itachi's skills.
