Naruto had a ninja in orange jump suit. Another ninja in traditional Japanese geta sandals:

Japan's women urged to wear high heels to lift confidence:

Get over it. Japanese may not be sharing your hate for heels.

With all the stupid costumes for girls in Japanese mangas as well as western comics people throwing a fit over heals in Naruto verse... smh

Get ready for her to be even more insulting than Kishimoto's attempt at writing female characters.

As someone who loves heels, I see no problem with them - as long as they're on a grown woman. Maybe that villainess isn't a ninja but like a stationary fighter.

lol this ^ at least she's an adult so I'm not that bothered by it.

I wouldn't have even noticed nor cared if someone hadn't pointed it out. Don't really care about the heel thing, unless it's on a child cause it looks ridiculous. Especially for someone with Sarada's combat style. But I guess new gen shinobi medics are gonna have to add heel blister aids to their medical packs. Sigh..

She probably wears them because she might feel insecure with her height.

If manga and animes followed those rules...... Half the fancy battle gears of super-heroines aren't going to hold up for even normal routine, let alone in a battle.

That said, blisters are result of otherwise ill fitting or badly made shoes and even flat shoes designed with stupid narrow shapes can will give you same blister. And if the soul is too flat, it may tire you out just the same and maybe painful.

A low, broad-based heel with support can be many times better.. Within one to three inches, they work fine for many, as long as the shoe is properly made and balanced otherwise.
