Maybe but maybe after the eyes are first activated it requires eyes more training with it to go up to higher tomoes

For me it might be that moment wasn't impactful enough because you got to consider all the emotions see dealt with that day so the negative she felt that day will undercut the positive.

I respectfully disagree. This huge weight just got lifted from her heart. I would think she would be gushing with the love emotion to upgrade her sharingan.

It wasn't positivity or negative , it was anticipation, but it probably was more postivite because she finally got to meet her dad, if she was a guy she probably would have had a fully mature sharingan by in end of Gaiden and a mangeyko when Sakura was kidnapped. But because women are these "complex unstable emotional being, we've only seen Sarada in her first form.
