Minato becoming the host of the 9 tails should never have happened. Like the 3rd he used the same jutsu to seal the ninetails. It should've been released the moment he was they were released.
Minato didn't become it's jin because he died it was the only way to weaken kurama and seal him. Also as a side thought to prevent the masked man from aquiring kurama, as a failsafe incase Naruto fails.

but for all we know the Jougan can be supressing all his other genes like a basic byakugan or uzumaki reserves

Probably yes, she's being impaled so I'm sure organs were punctured but that doesn't mean their out of place. It just means something went through it.

Actually it was stated in the manga by jiriya that the seal was leaking kurama chakra to Naruto and it was fusing with his own chakar thats why he has so much chakra not because he's half Uzumaki
