Okay.No point in dwelling in it then.
Not necessarily. That point I was trying to make was on how many shadow clones Minato can produce when alive and dead. If he's using other jutsus along with shadow clone as edo bm naruto he's limited to one shadow clone. If he's alive, he can't make any because his chakra isn't unlimited and levels aren't high enough "on paper."Why would you introduce a scenario with living Minato and Itachi and change it halfway through to what this was originally about. This completely changes the whole scope of the discussion.
We can't assume the rest.
That's not what happened here especially when tsb instantly erases on contact like Madara's crescent staff did to his arm. So he wasn't erasing anything at that moment, even when he threw the orbs at Kakashi and Obito.Since this is EdoItachi, then true enough, but I beg to disagree on the Minato part. He had to time it so he'd intercept, and physically touch so he could teleport, the Gudoudama, but not enough where they actually hit and damage him as they were intended to do. His timing was so damn perfect, next time we see him the gudoudama are literally touching his cloak, but with no damage towards him.

We are talking about reaction time, not linear speed. The argument that you made is that minato was able to throw his knife before Ay reached him top speed. The same hand movement speed it took to react to Ay's punch is the same movement speed it took Minato to try and pierce Ay's back, which Bee intercepted. Also Ay did use top speed against MS Sasuke. That's not it. You can infer Ay halted his dash after Minato teleported, which is why Bee managed to react in time. If that wasn't the case, Bee would be the fastest SHinobi, not Ay. KCM Naruto truly did surpass Ay, but Sasuke wasn't facing him at full speed like Naruto did. His hair spikes up when he's going full speed, which is not something he used against Sasuke. Neither was Itachi facing Naruto at full speed when they fought, since Naruto didn't really use his Shunshin against Itachi like he did on Ay.
Because what you are arguing now is ftg speed and not reaction speed. Which Tsukyomi us used to deal with that since genjutsus are casted instantly.
And you can see Ay traveling towards Minato which gave him time to react before hand.

If you look at the scan above, you'd see that Ay and Minato made visual contact before Ay charged his lighting style armour at top speed before charging at Minato. Did the same thing to Ms Sasuke too. That's completely different. Sasuke literally made a speech about how he was gonna "strike Itachi down with thunder" before he used Kirin, Ay just rushed at Minato straight on.
Edo minato doesn't have healing properties from kurama, only edo tensei body. Transforming into kurama cloak makes him slower and unable to use ftg which Itachi can just Totsukya him immediately and end things much faster. He also can't let what he can't see hit him, if he gets hit with that knife in the vital spot he will suffer. Bee showed this when he engaged to taunt minato in mutual striking. He wouldn't even be able to use a chakra arm because he can't see it coming.Well, if this is Edo Minato, the shuriken argument is completely pointless. He could just pull up the head of Kurama's avatar and it would literally protect him from any shuriken Itachi can throw. Or just let the kunai hit him. What are they even gonna do, he'd just heal in seconds.
Healing properties is a naruto feat alone, even when Naruto got stabbed by a sword in Bm in the Shin arc it still took naruto some time to heal that minor wound.

There is though something to be said about Itachi being a slave to Totsuka. To win this fight, one would have to seal the other away. Minato is a seal master, so even if he didn't show it, he logically has some method of sealing Itachi away other than the Dead Demon Consuming Seal. Otherwise, this wouldn't even be an argument. Itachi though would have to seal him away with Totsuka. He's not specialized in Fuinjutsu, so that's his only option. Its a rather slow method of attack, and he can't really pin the speedster Minato down with Genjutsu as long as there's a clone around, which is not a problem anymore since Edo Tensei, and Amaterasu can be sealed away just like Jiraiya did if not outright dodged, so already Itachi has a massive disadvantage down on him. Just worth pointing out.
Minato is not a sealing master, he learned one trick from Kushina in which dead demon consuming seal takes way to much time and Itachi's totsukya is way faster. And he doesn't pin down with a genjutsu, tsukyomi automatically kills people by breaking their spirit. And it's not like Minato has a sharingan to resist either.
Minato cannot use jiraiya's fire sealing methods and you're just handing out false abilities to minato just to help him win. To result to that you know minato has no chance of winning.
I already address the clone issue, he took out naruto's two shadow clones with two knives so one clone won't kill him. And if Itachi wants to play with clowns, he can make crow clones himself to entertain the idea. Given the fact that Itachi's genjutsu can reach even outside the sensors range, minato trying to sense any incoming threat and genjutsu is just not likely to happen at all.
