the funny thing about this and the reason why I made this thread that Naruto faps say Deidara lost and Sasuke survived because of plot, ignoring everything happed in the battle.
actually Deidara lasted this long in the battle because of plot, if Deidara wasn't an Akatsuki member and if he didn't have abilities we haven't yet seen at that time, he would've been soloed in minutes, and died like a fodder.

in the Akatsuki, Itachi, Pain and Obito are the only characters that can take down hebi Sasuke

The only thing that sasuke didn't use is probably kirin .Deidara didn't also use his C3.
He had minor help from Tobi .
He only knew about Sharingan Genjutsu which is kinda basic .
He striked deidara with chidori once but it happened to be clone .he attacked him more the once by his sword .

Kirin could have killed Deidara but this is Sasuke's strongest attack .C3 could have also killed Sasuke before he knew about the lightening weakness .even after he knew ,C3 could still be useful by detonating it in the air before Sasuke can naturalize it with lightening and the blast and shockwaves would still catch him .there is also the clay clone ,that Sasuke hit with chidori ,and the bird which deidara could have detonated if he had mixed either of them with explosive chakra.

If tobi wasn't there ,Deidara could have had a clone to set his minings that is why it is a minor help .tobi warned him once but he was only caught off guard because he was looking at tobi who was telling him to not detonate the bombs meaning he wasn't even looking at Sasuke .if tobi hadn't been there ,Deidara wouldn't have needed his warning because he wouldn't have been caught off guard like that .

Sharingan genjutsu is a basic info .dont also forget about Sasuke's elemental advantage.

If the battle was fair, Deidara fighting alone by himself like Sasuke is, if Deidara was seeing the sharingan for the first time like Sasuke was seeing his clays for the first time, and if Sasuke was fighting the same way he was fighting against Itachi, Deidara stands no chance that's all I have to say.

Kisame doesn't beat Sasuke for sure, he is arguable, though I'm not sure what can he do against Kirin.
