Leave it to you guys to jump into the conclusion that what you see is the only thing that that goes on the the narutoverse.

It is a much safer bet that the rest of the k11, may have gone through similar growth in these many years. Maybe kiba can do a mini hurricane now. Maybe Ino can mind control without being vulnerable. Maybe tenten can use elemental weapon attacks. We only know what shino can do, but that doesn't automatically mean that others don't have anything new.

In any case, Shino was always an OP character who could 1-hit ordinary opponents if he had the element of surprise. Now, considering his improved stealth capabilities, I do imagine all k11 without sensory abilities having a hard time against him.

Ino, Kiba, Hinata, Sasuke and, Naruto are the only ones who can effectively strip him of that element of surprise, you know.

Others, like Sakura, and Chouji probably can counter it too, but it'll be messy, and would still put them at a disadvantage.
