I agree Naruto should've been allowed to die (tailed beast extraction rule). Sasuke should've changed because of this and helped Shikamru ,Tenten and others seal Madara into the sealing pot. Far better ending and Naruto should've gotten a monument

There arent any unique deaths in this series. Neji's death was random. Jiraiya's death is reminiscent of Dumbledore/the wise old teacher dying so the student can fight the main villain.
