I'm talking about body flicker. If we are talking about Hiraishin:

If it's exactly how he did against Madara, Kunai at the foot of the user and attacking from the very front, the following react.

Before minato was hit by naruto and sasuke flame control rasen shriken he body flickered right in front of them before it even hit him. funny thing is both of them were completely caught off guard. Minato is the only one in the in the series to have a body flicker technique that was compared to a space-time ninjutsu in terms of sheer speed.

Minato's fast but not that fast. His naural foot speed would be average. The only famous body flicker ninja is shisui.
Minato's ftg is over rated Bee reacted to it low difficulty, even when Minato tried to kill him Bee was ready to finish him off during the 3rd war.

Shisui and itachi. Minato has to use ftg to reach thier speed. Itachi never used shunshin to avoid a chidori with 30% speed. And itachi was equal to shisui in some 8yr old when they fought in taijutsu combat and itachi won 50% of times as shisui said. Even shisui said itachi will surpass him.

For some reason people think Minato's speed is average without ftg, which is contrary to everything said about him.
He is an absolute master at the body flicker technique, and proves this on several occassions.
If he wasn't fast without ftg, he would be easily caught between teleportations when he was reported to take down 100's of shinobi during the war at a time. In terms of base speed, I would say that minato is equal to shisui. Note image below IS NOT FTG he is using body flicker to appear.
