I've related to Naruto since episode 1 or rather manga chapter 1, after further development he really grew on me. This moment however sealed the deal for me. :sigar:

Naruto when he started going ham on Haku

The thing about Naruto : he came to be in the hardest and worst conditions , and yet succeeded ... Just look at him beating Shukaku at the age of 12 :sigar: this comes from a Sasuke fan ... I really praise Naruto ....

This Moment.

The Legendary Minato will always have my respect :win:

When he decided to leave Konoha.

You mean Sasuke or Orochimaru ?

in Naruto: Obito since chapter 600(yes not as a kid when he was revealed as obito)
in Boruto: Kawaki bcuase he looks badass and cool as fk

I think Obito was cooler when he had the orange mask ... I really liked how he was joking on Naruto and others XD
Kawaki also looks badass :sigar:

I love Sasuke and Tsunade since I first started to watch the series ( circa 13 years ago ).
Pretty much similar to how I love Sasuke :win:

Previously, with Pain, that was the moment he blasted Konoha into oblivion...but I recently had a change of heart.

People often diss both the manga and the anime, but I am VERY interested on Boruto's hourney. You get a glimpse of what he'll become at the start with his confrontation against Kawaki, and then you see the brat he is as a child and all that comes with it...and yet, in the span of ten chapters, the development he went through is unbelievable. He went from a total brat to a hero in the making. He's not quite there yet, but he's very diffeerent from the kid we met in the start of the series. I'm excited with the potential his character brings and curious to see where he goes from here.

Yeah Pain was the coolest guy until Madara was revealed :sigar:

Asuma and Shikamaru: I was always a big fan of Shikamaru during the Temari Vs Shikamaru fight. Yet it developed into fully blown fanboy-ness right about the time where Asuma died.
Jiraiya: I don't know why I was a fan of his. I usually stray away from anime pervs(reason why I never was a fan of Roshi from DBZ), still he seemed genuine enough to connect to and was a great Uncle-type figure to Naruto and the Jiraiya & Naruto Vs Orochimaru really pushed it for me.
Hinata: Really respectable and considerate, a true nurturer by nature. Hinata's flagship sailed for me once I saw that cute stuttering ball of affection come on screen.
Naruto: It took the Naruto vs Neji fight to make me start rooting for him but it was the Naruto vs Gaara fight that made me want to be like him. I expected the series to pander deus ex machina "I'm main character" crap to hype the main up so much. Yet, over time I rooted for him cause connected to his my of life, and his "Change the World" mentality. Something I really admired from Naruto in the series.

Your love for Shikamaru is understandable, he's a phenomal character, and his lazy genius persona is hard to dislike.

Kabuto turning out to be a Sound Ninja spy was the first twist that made me think: I'm sticking with this series. His battle w/ Tsunade remains my favourite of the series and then the Snake Cape? Dude I still watched the anime, so Ninja Storm dropped this? I flipped my sh*t.

As for Obito...who's to say? Tobi was always badass. I wasn't immediately wow'd by the mask tobi reveal but everything following it made me really admire the character. His defeat in particular by the entire Alliance was the greatest chapter I had read of Kishimoto's.

Still I was skeptical, he could've easily turned into a pompous bastard or the whiny prodigy with all the answers. A reason why I never liked #625 from Lilo and Stitch, 625 was so lazy, but had all the same powers as Stitch himself. I hoped Shikamaru wouldn't be a light reminder of that, and I'm glad he wasn't

Reuben was hysterical to be quite honest. That said, I wholeheartedly agree, he was an arrogant little bastard.

Shikamaru is nothing like him, as you stated. Shikamaru never has all the answers, and will analyze, theorize, and isn't above asking for outside output (Sakura) to formulate a plan/come to a conclusion.

Truthfully, Shikamaru has to be my favorite character in the Naruto franchise.

I liked Neji when he appeared but kinda disliked him when he hurt Hinata. But after Naruto vs Neji I started liking him a lot.

He had it all figured out since the start of the series.
