Who here honestly believes that by simply awakening the Byakugan, one can immediately learn an entire taijutsu tyle?

When comparing the Sharingan and Byakugan, people constantly equate taijutsu feats with the eye itself. However, I seriously doubt that Otsutuski's from the original home of the Otsutsuki clan have even a basic grasp of the Gentle Fist taijutsu style.

By the way, Sharingan>Byakugan, we know this because Uchiha>Hyuga. Before using the argument of dilution, dilution is what split the Rinnegan and Sharingan apart. So if we're going to talk about the pristine forms of both dojutsu's, it'd be the RinneSharingan vs Byakugan.

what kept them from having even more crazier moves is tradition and strict rule practices that for all we know could have ended with Hanabi as the heir

the only exception of someone using GF efficiently just after awakening their eyes is Himawari... but like Hiashi and Naruto stated she is a extreme rarity that is bizarre (ahem elite prodigy)


Also note that the byakugan varies between the user and the training applied to it, like how Hinata could see targets 50 meters away in part 1 but by age 18, she can see targets 20 kilometres away


or how Momo who lived for hundreds if not thousands of years can read others fates with his byakugan

Kaguya and Hamura both know Gentle Fist, as the databook says word for word that the Gentle Fist was passed down from Kaguya to the Hyuga Clan, and she has only one son who could inherit that from her.

Vacuum Attack is also a Gentle Fist move.

Byakugan already takes training to awaken normally which obviously involves gentle fist already

We see Boruto partially uses gentle fist even though he has no Byakugan

Lol. Insult me if you want, but I'll not believe something I haven't seen, and thus far we haven't seen Himawari use GF. She awakened her Byakugan and blocked Naruto's chakra point with her finger (as her eyes allowed her the perception to).

she never did a GF taijutsu but she did what was basically a 64 palm with one finger after awakening her byakugan

if it was that easy Hinata, Neji, Hiashi, etc... would of been doing that all their lives and fights would end with one poke
