So they promoted Boruto characters for the anime showing us them like that:

You must be registered for see images

But end up changing them in boruto anime . I thought well maybe it's just for the academy arc why not . But then now when there's a reason to change them back to their original clothes or to the clothes they were promoted in they kept them with Ikemoto's design in Gaiden where their apperance is Kishi's design. They are Sarada Chocho Shikadai and Inojin.

Personally, I prefer Ikemoto's design for Shikadai and his design for Chouchou. Kishi's is better for Inojin and I like both of the designs for Sarada.
