Karin is what Sakura should've been. She epitomizes what a support ninja should be.

That jsut means sakura is more of a upfront fighter, sakura's skill set expands much farther than support ninja because she has firepower.

OT: Karin is smart book wise, her skill set is probably what makes her one of the best support ninja's.

But its not just that she was out of place, her personality too was horrible. Maybe her parents didn't teach her good manners and humility. I think she was selfish too, that's why as a ninja she never took the initiative to contribute to the team's effort most of the time with the chunin exam forest of death battle being the only exception. At least the other kunoichis tried but no not Sakura. She'd just cry Naruto kun or Sasuke kun when in danger lol.

She has shown constant support for Naruto's goals and repeated the fact that she supports him, she also unconditionally loved sasuke and risked her life for him. Yet, guys will do anything to degrade Sakura it's quite sad.

Karin doesn't have innate abilities outside of healing. Her sensing and Chakra Chains are skills.

Karin is certainly smarter than Sakura, at least if we're talking about on the battle field, though Sakura would logically be smarter given that she's a doctor

Mystic Palm and Yin Seal count as a whole branch now? She hardly has no noteworthy healing techs outside of Yin Seal that other medics couldn't do.

Are you going to forget her extracting the poison from kankuro's body something no other Suna ninja could attempt, then she went and made an antidote something that beteran Chiyo couldn't do or when she performed an incision with the chakra scalpel and pumped Naruto's heart manually.

Sakura also is smarter than karin in every category, her book-smart is second to none, her battle-smarts may not be amazing but she is known for fooling her opponents or surprising that then. Karin either jumps in recklessly or stays at bay.....

Because she's a female, who's initial character was written when damsels in distress's were still the range. She was also the heroine so obviously her situations would get more attention and screentime...

There are other females too in the manga like Tsunade, Temari, Hinata, Karin and Ino. Well they were not MC ofc, but they didn't need saving as much as Sakura did.

I kind of agree. I do credit Sakura for her success into being a well-rounded medic ninja. If we're talking about being a healer as a superior support then yes Sakura takes it. But Karin has superior sensory ability and tank chakra chains for support. Not to mention her instant regen and healing via bite, she's also a medic ninja to an extent, although not as diverse as Sakura is.

If Karin were to show some genjutsu feats, I think she would really surpass Sakura as an overall better support character.
On a different note, Sakura is the better frontliner. Karin is never one.
