I dont see 1 handed Sasuke overwhelming Hashirama in CQC.

Maybe with a sword but pure hand to hand definitely not.

It wouldn't just be a sword, or hand to hand. It would be a sword lace with ration and or enton also has the ability to come straight from his body.

Not really the same in this case. Kishimoto said he wanted to focus mainly on a few things in the Boruto movie, introducing the new generation, giving Sasuke a lead role, and making it mostly a taijutsu battle.. obviously Kishi's assistant focus mainly on Boruto and the new generation. Good indication on why everything that change was shorter, completely left out or found a way to make Boruto revelant.

Doesn't make Kishi's version of the movie any less cannon because they didn't share completely the same views.

Yes. That's the script. Not the details of the battle. That combined with the fact we have the Manga, which sets the events of the new series, not the Manga, it's obvious which one is more canon.

If the script changed then the details of the battle also changed. Sasuke is no longer playing the lead role. Only enough to allow the story to make sense and over half of the script of the battle was removed.. Or do you think Kishi just said "make the battles taijutsu only but however you see fit"?

I would agree if the same person who wrote the Manga was the one who wrote the cannon movie.

Lmao the script is the overall plot and dialogue. Not the details of the fight and animations. Animation is where the details of the fight would be handled and Kishimoto doesn't personally create those. So there is literally nothing in there that'd prove your point nor does it matter, just like it doesn't matter who wrote the Manga. The Manga is the official continuation of the series and future events in this series connect with the Manga adaption of Boruto. Not the movie. The movie adaption contradicts events post Momoshiki Arc. Thus the Manga is more canon.

So Kishi wrote 700 chapters of a manga and the fight scenes but decided to skip that in what he calls his finest work? Yea, no. I'm choosing Kishi work every time, so we can agree to disagree.

What you are saying doesn't even make sense. You are flat out wrong. If the bold helps you ignore that then by all means.

This^^
In the movie Momoshiki just dies. But in the manga he comes back to stop time and have a conversation with Boruto and even transfered him new powers which is the main plot of the new series. So it makes the manga more canon as it ties to future Boruto events.
Those who deny this are just grasping at straws at this point.

How? Kishi write battle scenes all the time. He did throughout 700 chapters in the manga but now when it comes to what Kishi calls his finest work he decided not to?

of course things were changed because of different agendas. Kishi was ending his story while his assistant is beginning his.
