So who/where do think it is. I'm sure this was already a thread but whatcha all think. I like the idea of it being at majoris island doffy saying he has news that could change the world being that. Also say a theory it could be on elbaf but don't know if oda will have the crew go there. I guess if it's there he'd have to. I also think black beard could have it with it being left behind in white beards Territory so maybe when they meet Marco he'll be like we tried to get it cuz we want you to inherit aces will and be the next pirate king leading a Segway into that battle. But I also don't like the yonko having 3/4

I don't know honestly, but I'll love it if it were in paradise and not the new world. Like it's really lost as opposed to hidden.
There's a remote chance the revs have it (or know what's on it), since if the revs don't know about the poneglyphs they won't be looking for Robin and the fact that Baltigo as been around (and hidden) for 100s of years.
There's also a chance Shanks is its guardian, which might lead to a SH or BB vs Shanks thing, but I think that will be cliché
It's also possible the WG have it like you pointed out.

Going off what Whitebeard said, he said Sengoku feared that whoever found Onepiece will one day challenge the entire world government to a fight.
And I'm sure the gorosei is part of that as well. I don't think the straw hats are strong enough to fight the world government to get a red poneglyph in majoris. Not even sure if Rogers crew was able to pre raftel.

I think at one point in history the WG had possession over 3 of the Road Poneglyphs with the exception of the one hidden at Zou possibly thanks to the connection with Wano.

In order to prevent anyone from ever reaching Raftel handing out a poneglyph to two Yonkou. Making it near impossible for an outsider to ever collect that information and keep the yonkou friendly with a valuable gift. Even a yonkou would probably think twice about fighting another yonkou.

As a back-up the keep one stone themselves while the last one is missing (Zou) according to them. That would be the perfect strategy to make 2 of the world's strongest people your personal guard dog by giving them a present.
