In my reply I said that the majority of European psychological organizations agree that Alecto is wrong about her stance on transgender psychology, and that the only major European country that I'm aware of that would still consider it a mental disorder would be Russia.

In her next reply, Alecto stated that she was Russian.

So my comment is justified.

My race analogy wasn't a response to you saying it's a disorder because of those issues, it was a response to you saying they should be barred from the military because their presence causes trouble. Not sure if this is quite moving the goalposts or strawmanning, but I know for sure you just did one expertly.

I just love the fact that she straight up said that said she has a master's degree in psychology, yet isn't even able to defend her position nor provide any sources. Not one.

The whole debate was just calling us opinionated and unqualified, even though we were citing a prominent psychological organization.

This sounds like a classic case of "it's not important to me, therefore it's not important." Not only that, but just because many agree with something by itself isn't a good argument.

And tbh, you say that throwing a fit about pronouns and identity means you don't deserve to be in the army, but what of the opposite side of the coin? If you're throwing a fit about calling someone "sir" when you want to call them "ma'am," how is that better? In the army, you're gonna come across people of all walks of life. You WILL come across ideals that contradict yours and probably won't sit well with you. Does a person that can't handle this, including in the form of trans people being present, deserve to be there anymore than the trans people who complain about "irrelevant shit?"

I dont believe they should allow mentally ill people in any military service, so good on trump. Their should also be a gender-nuetral standard whether male or female and shouldnt deviate based on *** if their intended goal is field duty, so only the most fit and suitable for the job make it in. The army should be kept to the highest proficiency since its a building block of a nations strength.
