Doesn't Naruto have a strong Yin affinity ?

The term 'shadow' is a reference to 'yin', that implies shadow clones are reliant on Yin as much as Yang. When you look at Tobirama's DB stats he had affinity for Yin as well as Yang.

If that's the case then Naruto being naturally talented with shadow clones could be a sign of him having a somewhat strong Yin affinity, although nowhere near Sasuke's level. Likewise Sasuke's ability to master CS and spam jutsu is a sign of him having strong level of Yang to some degree.


I think it just further shows that the divide of Hago's power wasn't strictly 50/50 like a perfect ratio. It looks more like Indra and Ashura had both sides of Hago's chakra but one with less Yin and the other with less Yang.

The chart does not stipulate which elements that shinobi has mastered, or which elements they have a natural affinity for.

Only jutsus that are not solid and tangible is yin element such as Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death and shadow possession

The more solid the clones are the more yang element is put into the jutsu, the more yin element is in the clones the more you know it is an illusion.
