Quite easy if Sasuke used solo stare he would've won and Naruto would be dead. Kishi couldn't let that happen. Naruto has demonstrated 0 immunity to genjutsu especially sharingan genjutsu (Itachi sama). And then fappers think he'd be immune to an Indra incarnates genjutsu

Why would you wait for a scan like that when lesser beings like Itachi(in the concept of being an incarnate of course) use solo stare on Fodderuto. You forget Sasuke has Itachi's eyes him not using it doesn't make it impossible for him to do. Oh and Naruto an Ashura incarnate not once escaped ot demonstrated immunity to Itachi sama's base level genjutsu cast from near blinding eyes.
So we have a fact established that an Ashura incarnate can be affected by genjutsu and regular sharingan genjutsu at that. And being unable to escape it also.
Yet you deny an Indra incarnate which embodies the power of Indra from whom all powers of sharingan stem could put an Ashura incarnate under genjutsu.
Like I said nice fanfic(to dismiss fanfic requires reason not scans).

So even though we have manga scans stating that Naruto cannot resist this specific type of genjutsu, you refuse to believe it unless shown? I'm sure Kishi does indeed try his best to make his battles the most enjoyable to the readers. Having Naruto caught in a genjutsu to end the fight would obviously be a bad decision. However, he has this in mind for EVERY fight. You know how he could have written this battle instead? Let Sasuke cast his genjutsu on Naruto, and simply give him the feats to break out of it. With Rikudo chakra and the shared chakra of the 9 bijuu, Kishi could easily introduce a mechanic that snaps him out of the genjutsu instead. That's how lots of characters obtain their feats, after all. He calls the shots.

I'm confident that Kishi cared way more about the result of the battle than the fine details.
