The responsible for Gaiden's animation is Naoki Kobayashi, the same guy who animated Sasuke vs. Kinshiki, Obito vs. Rain Ninjas and Madara vs. Shonobi Alliance so we can expect real good fight scenes.

All characters look younger than they actually are in the anime, I think it's because the target audience isn't as mature as the people who read the manga. Regardless, she'll be looking beautiful, as always.

Good maybe it'll add some life to the gaiden, it's kinda old, so seeing it animated will be great. I'm hoping they add some fight time with nardo and sauce vs shin... and all the fights actually, even cho cho and salad vs shin

No body is drawing frame by frame for a weekly series. Those stills are a byprofuct of a tween applied to tha animation. They created they renders just the capture the body language because there frames are less than a second long.
