I don't think it was orochimaru's influence at all, it was Sasuke's rage from hearing Sakura hurt. You know Sasuke only was able to activate it when he thought of Sakura, up until his transformation.

I'll take your theory in kind, his curse-mark did respond to his special chakra, which is why he couldn't use the Sharingan without the mark activating.

But Sakura had little to do with it, the curse-mark made him nonchalant, selfish, and evil.
