I'm pretty sure they will research more on Nue by scavenging from Danzo and Sumire's father hideout. Sumire might have little role on that since she might not have much information on Nue's origin.

About Kinshiki and Momoshiki traveling dimensions. Maybe they have the same or similar technique to Kaguya whose able to travel dimensions without the Rinnegan. Sasuke can travel dimensions too, but he needs to charge his eye before he can travel through a dimension a buffed Rinnegan.
