Movie vs recap in feats

Which has the superior feats portrayal for naruto, sasuke, kinshiki and momoshiki?
For Naruto, i think he did better in the recap. He got some solid reacting and blocking feats in his base form.

Naruto in rsm(?) even managed to land a few good hits on fused momoshiki, who should be at least as fast as kinshiki(who's as fast as sasuke).

I'd say sasuke's portrayal in the movie is better.
Fast enough to get past rsm naruto.

All of these feats were removed in the recap, he only got one good punch in during the whole fight, when it came to taijutsu at least.

Kinshiki seemed stronger in the movie, he cut the friggin' shinju in half!

Momoshiki is kind of a mixed bag for me, but i think i'd say his recap version is somewhat better, his taijutsu feats in the boruto movie did look better. He put up a bit of a fight against naruto & sasuke in the movie, whereas in the recap he mostly engaged naruto in taijutsu. That being said, this feat triumphs all his others.

His rock golem completely overpowered naruto's kurama avatar and was fast enough to choke him, unlike in the movie where it got one shot'd easily. :lol

I agree. For sure, Manga feats Naruto looks way more promising than Sasuke. However, Movie wise, Sasuke looks way more promising than Naruto.

But from a non-bias POV, I think no matter which way you look, both end up equaling out somehow.

For example, in the Movie's interpretation of the fight, whenever Naruto or Sasuke did something amazing, so did the other. Whenever Sasuke went in solo, Naruto backed him up, and vice versa. The same goes for when Sasuke got burned, Naruto saved him, and then afterwards, Sasuke got his man-ness back by helping Naruto's son get the finishing blow, with Naruto's power.

It's crazy but the Yin/Yang shit is real no matter where you look. Naruto and Sasuke can never truly 'ONE UP' the other. It's impossible XD

Well, by screwattack death battle logic, you factor in each character's best feats as canon regardless of inconsistency. if sasuke edges out naruto in the movie in the speed department but naruto had better CQC w/ momoshiki in the manga then you take it as it was shown. It's kinda stupid in a manga where it's just one universe unlike comic books but that's how they do it. I honestly never seen a manga have different protrayals and still remain one universe. well... except dbs I guess, but that's a mess to be talked about another day.

The recap kinda retcon the movie, the boruto series is following that version instead of the movie.

Retcon can never blacklist feats unless said so by the author themselves no matter what. So if someone right now said "I want all of naruto's feats" they must include every canon feat he has done regardless of inconsistency or differ story portrayal, same for sasuke. I've had a similar PoV as you did years ago in regards to goku v superman discussions but they all pretty much said regardless of inconsistency you always take their best feats (as long as it's canon) and so far we have no word whether the movie is considered non canon.

I disagree, but i'm not gonna dive deeper into that. I was just asking which version of the characters had better feats. There's another different version, which is the novel. Momoshiki was doing feats he has never shown in the movie or recap.

same applies to him. if manga momo manhandled naruto and sasuke, then that feat overrides the movie. not because it came after the film but because it's the better feat period. lmao yeah I know it's stupid but that's how the versus forums set it up even deathbattle. example: edo hiruzen ninjutsu feats would apply to pt1 counterpart (vice-versa too) regardless of inconsistency. but yeah let's stop here, I kinda want to disagree with it too i'm just passing what most of these other versus debaters seem to settle it.
