If they actually show a divorce, then it would bring a more mature angle to this childish tale where a guy is still disinterested in his wife after more than a decade of her grovelling by his feet. It might actually show the kids that separations happen. And yes, Sasuke never showed this level of cold disdain towards Karin as he did for Sakura. It's just a fact and no amount of over-reading the scans changes that.
