Based on story facts, there is a possibility that Sakura does come from or suffered abuse as a child.

Thank you. I am kinda tired of Sasuke being called an abuser. Sorry, but she had it coming a million times over. The guy doesn't like her. He goes out, she starts *****ing. Manipulates Naruto into getting him back as she can't do it herself. Naruto obliges as he loves her (she doesn't know that he has far greater love for Sasuke).

When he becomes a member of Akatsuki, she again tries to use Naruto. Then, when he doesn't budge and tells her the truth that he didn't go after Sasuke just for her, she goes behind his back to kill the one person (his brother, for ****'s sake!) he cares for the most despite everything he had done for her. That is sick, honestly.

When they reunite again, she is back to her guilt-tripping bullshit, knowing the fact that Sasuke doesn't want her. Honestly, she's such a whiny lil' *****.
