The Villain that Boruto is fighting is a carnivore who loves to eat the living brain out of people for fun and he is going to eventually bust in into the prison like Black Beard and release the criminals. If this is going Impel Down arc route, then they will truly make the series darker by making the villains portraying as evil and menacing which would be the step to the right direction for Boruto considering too many sympathetic villains in SHITPOODEN got tnj.

It's not just Blackbeard, I am talking about the whole concept of Impel down where a criminal like Luffy infliterate the prison to save his inmate. Shojoji objective to release the criminal is no different.
