It's inevitable that the anime will catch up to the manga, so what do you think they'll do? Will they do something like DBS and make different canons? Or will the anime just be in "filler" hell until the manga puts out new material?

I think they'll go the dbs route, it's already more diff than dbs is between anime/manga. It's kind of they're only option for awhile unless they wanna seriously mess with one or the other

The way I see it im thinking the sarada and mitsuki arcs will take 2 months like the nue arc with possible filler before chunin exam arc

And the manga might take a year to finish first arc so I'm sure they could stay ahead if they want or possible create a separate universe

It will be he same, seeing how Gaiden is about to be made I think so. They just needed some space in between that's why they are showing the days of the academy.

Gaiden will take approx. 1 month to finish, 4-5 episodes, maybe even longer. Max 7.
Mitsuki Gaiden maybe? 1-2 episodes.
Boruto Movie rehash will take another month to finish.
Then they gotta animate the Shojoji/Mujina arc. Another month or so to finish.

By the time they reach the Shojoji arc, if my calc. is correct, the Manga will have 3-4 (or more) chapters. At least one more arc or so before they "completely" catch up.

We have a good year or so before we have to worry about it. By that time we don't know if the anime will go on hiatus or not.

True, i do wish they'll go on a hiatus too. I really don't want this series to go down the DBS route. :lol
