They were trying to capture shin, not kill him. She incapacitated him and followed up with a question. She would have killed him if she wanted to lol she never expected him to die from her punch

Neither do you, don't act all mighty here when you're arguing an enraged Sakura, who lost control of her common sense and logic when Salad questioned her marriage, would have the self-control and calm of mind to hold back her anger against someone attacking Salad and Sasuke.
