Why senjus were able to keep up with the most powerful clan

Looking back at the older chapters I overlooked some feats that validated why the senju were regarded as the Six path yang energy in the series. (Naruto showing the best form with ashura and kyubi's chakra).
Like edo tensei which is Tobirama's jutusl, he not only uses human sacrifices to call down the soul of who's being summoned but he inserts

as well which explains the clans strong vitality and physical energy through these two members only.

It dawned on me that the only reasons why Kabuto and Orochimaru were able to do it is because they have strong physical energy. And that reason being is because both Kabuto and Orochimaru tampered with hashi's body to enhance their capability of using edo tensei and sage mode.
With that in mind, I do think the Senju clan gave the Uchiha clan that much trouble to rival them because they were able to imbue their massive life force into different objects to fight for them. I think it explains a lot and able to keep up with these three tomow uchihas during war because that level of yang energy the senju bros. use on a daily basis is just too much for a basic tomoe user.
Granted if it was a mangekyo sharingan user, the clan would stomp so hard that it's not even funny.

The sharingan can easily copy and read ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu before the opponent can even cast it. Itachi vs Kabuto and Kakashi vs Zabuza shown the struggle of going up against a doujutsu that can copy all of that.
So a 3 tomoe can easily handle that, and it's hardly a threat at all on top of all their Uchiha jutsus.

Everything you just said here is wrong.

1. sharingan copies ninjutsu, so it cannot counter it.
2. Tobirama used a blind-side attack, and his strongest arsenal uses life energy. Edo tensei
3. Manga says life energy is a senju trait read the manga I just posted. Uzamaki are gifted with longevity and great stamina, that doesn't mean senju and uzamaki both don't have yang energy since they are related.

Simply because the sharingan can copy/help read ninjutsu doesn't mean it doesn't work on them or cannot be used to counter them, Senju had been fighting them for decades, I'm sure they learn't how to use ninjutsu effectively against Uchiha or even developing jutsu's specifically for them. Also that the senju were known for their vast variety of Ninjutsu and other ninja arts.

I see what you mean. the scale of the jutsu should be bigger since senju yang increases the quantity of their jutsus.
However Uchihas have powerful chakra and their scale is just as big because they are more potent than they senjus (quality) They are just not able to spam in succession because they lack the stamina level of a senju but their chakra levels are pretty much above.
That's why the senjus were never able to whip out the Uchiha clans for good. Hashi's dad and Madara's dad where at a complete deadlock, yet they were the strongest ones in their respected clans. Right?

Literally the same can be said vice versa. Uchihas are very proficient in ninjutsus as well, just take a look at itachi, sasuke, and tobi. Genjutsu completely unrivaled too. But it's the life force that keeps them on the Uchihas level.

I'd guess the Senju never developed a trademark ability or style of combat while the Uchiha did, which allowed the senju to adapt to that and some what combat the advantage the uchiha had against Nin/Gen and Tai and obviously with Tobirama inventing shit like shadow clones and such was most likely a huge help to them.

I don't know if the Uchiha had higher chakra levels, but their chakra level can't be much lower than those of the Senju.

I agree with you, on the Senju being equal with the Uchiha pre Hashirama, we didn't get to see how the Uchiha do battle in a war, since their visual prowess should give them an edge (they could create a fog like Izuna did).

Yeah, they are potent and during Madara and the 2nd (maybe third) databook they said their chakras are powerful and unparalleled to every other clan. Hashirama is a special case but I feel as though he's the only one who knows sage mode and a ashura reincarnate but I could be wrong. There's only a few Uchihas that can take him out and it was known during Hashirama's time since only two people ever awakened the mangekyo.

They commonly used life energy like I posted in the Op. Even solid shadow doppelgangers required great stamina to create that. I'm not denying their skill in creating ninjutsu, but their strongest ninjutsus they use/create have a great deal of life source behind it like wood style and edo tensei.

Uchiha jutsus are also created by the clan and are very hard to counter, we can't sleep on what it has done to some of the most powerful people in the series.

Life force. The ambu means that they are alive. Nothing more.
Life source. He used his chakra. CHAKRA as a life source to give life to the mokuton. Yang energy.

They do have great yang energy. But dont put them at the level of Hashirama or Tobirama.
