idk why they would make another movie
since if it was canon they would have to try and add it somehow to the anime
and for us it would suck since unlike the anime we would have to wait a span of 6-8months to finally watch it after debuting in Japan

just put more budget into the anime and make it an arc
it isn't ridiculous since now TV series get a ton of movie like budgets like Game of Thrones
and they make a ton of revenue from it

Well the first nine movies were dumb and non cannon and I wish "The Last" was non cannon considering how bad it was so they were at best like 1 for 11 as far as movies go and how do we even know this will not be non cannon like the first 9 movies?
Well considering even before the new Bort series started Shippuden's ratings were dropping significantly and I am pretty sure the new series is not doing so well either so they simply will not even come close to having a high enough budget to have that type of animation in a yearly series.

the new series is doing well in ratings and viewership
the reason as to why Shippuden wasn't doing so well was due to a drop of budget, material already being known in the superior manga as well as filler and flashback stretch out and drag

Maybe the ratings are good but I think I heard it was at best doing o.k. in the ratings department so far but maybe you have facts to counter that rumor.

2nd plus the only reason it was good was Naruto and Sasuke so if they expect Bort alone to carry the movie good luck with that.
So the second Naruto movie about a knight was good or the Lost Tower was good? You have a weird taste of what is good.
