Hagoromo Had Byakugan Eyes

So, I know that the anime isn't considered canon. But, in the episodes regarding Hagoromo, Hamura, and Kaguya, it shows that Hagoromo had the eyes of a Hyuga/Otsutsuki before awakening the Rinnegan.

What do you guys think about that?

Byakugan eyes are byakugan. Unless you mean to say it looks like the byakugan. I think it's just something genetic. Every hyuga had those eyes, but not all of them could actually awaken the byakugan

He inherited his mother's eyes, which are characteristically associated with those who have the Byakugan, hence, why I said Byakugan eyes. He did not inherit the Byakugan.
