It is unknown from what family Minato Namikaze comes or if he even come from a Clan. It suggested that he can be from a Fishman family or a town near the sea due his last name. Minato graduates from Academy at 10. His Chunnin promotion is Unkown but he was left by Jiraiya at the age of 13, time when he was going to train for 3 years the Orphans. This could suggest that at that age Minato was already a Jonnin. Since Jiraiya can't leave their team alone. Minato is pointed to have the Best Scores in the Konoha's History Records in the Novel of Itachi Shinden while Itachi has the Second best Scores.
Minato becomes Sensei at the age of 19 while his team: Kakashi, Rin and Obito of 9 years old. As far as I know Minato is the Youngest Sensei in History. At that time there is records that the Third Ninja War was already. Minato sensei in time war. Minato at the age of 19 was already known as the Yellow Flash of Konoha and already had the Flee on Sight Order. Fukasaku and Jiraiya never knew that Minato masterd Sage Mode since Pa compared Naruto to Jiraiya and not with Minato who was just like Naruto. Not even the Sannins were completing that number of missions except by Jiraiya with 59.3 missions. This show how fast they could do their missions and how trusted they were by Konoha. This also show their experience. With more experience more faster you could get your job done.
Minato was consider the Commander of Konoha during the Third Great Ninja War and presented the lowest loses even while leading a low number of ninja against the other Nations. This happens even when the Sannins were still in the Village showing Minato was consider better at that time.
He became Hokage at 22 years - 23 years. The youngest ninja to claim the seat of Hokage. According to the Databook, with Minato as Hokage, Konoha had a bright future.
Minato also saved Kushina at the age of 14 whe she was Kidnapped by Kumogakure Jonnin Ninjas. He was the only one able to track her and since them Kushina fall in love with him. We dont know at what age Minato was already dating her but we can asume he was young to.
Minato accomplish to rank more faster than anyone and get to Kage rank in a period of 12 to 13 years. I must add to that Minato was consider by the people he met as a Prodigios Ninja. Jiraiya said he was a Once Time Genius. Besides being very talented his hobby was reading so we can asume he has a lot of knowledge. Jiraiya even said that Minato is the ninja with more guts he has ever seen.
Abilities
In a period of 14 years since he graduated from the Academy Minato learned and Mastered the following:
1.- Rasengan which took him 3 years. As explained before, Minato created the tecnic at 22 or 23 year. He didn't have time to develop it
more.
2.- Flying Thunder God and Variants. Only he and Tobirama had master it. Minato took it to a new level.
3.- Fuinjutsu. He became an Expert in this field.
4.- Uzumaki's Fuinjutsu Seals. He became an Expert also and he even learned the rare ones of the Uzumaki. Even better than Kushina.
At his age is even rare to be an expert. Orochimaru was surprised that Kakashi at 26 years already knew some Fuinjutsu Tecnics. It
took 3 years for Orochimaru to undo the ShikiFujin. How much should it take to learn Uzumaki's Fuinjutsu?
5.- Mastery with Weapons such as Shurikens and Kunais. Usually Uchihas are the masters. Minato has a decent level compared with
them.
6.- Mastery in frog Summons. Similar level to Jiraiya.
7.- Sage Mode. This one of the most difficult task. You need to fill some requirements and Minato was a Perfect Sage.
8.- Sensory Ninja Type. Minato also had tracking skills like Tobirama. He has one of best levels in Sensory Feats. He is top 5.
9.- Fastest ninja. He also has great reactions. He became Fastest Ninja in History. At the age of 19 he had flee on sight.
10.- Mastery at Ying and Yang tecnics. FTG requires both.
11.- Mastery over Barrier Tecnics. Gai said that the Four Red Yang Formation was a Kage level. So how much time does it require?
Minato did it at young age. That besides Fuinjutsu Barriers like the Tori.
12.- Elemental Tecnics. We dont know how many he has mastered. But we can asume he knows at least two.
13.- Greatest Analytical skills.
14.- Top 10 greatest Chakra Control Ninjas.
15.- Top 10 Ninjas with larga Chakra pools.
He is a complete Ninja and the best in overall skills. He lacks of raw power as far as seens. But in skills he is the best. Minato learned all that while having Students, in war time, leading Konoha ninjas in war, completing the most missions per year and dating Kushina. Minato had a lot of activities to do and still became the best. He didn't waste any time. No wonder why Jiraiya said he became Hokage in a Blink of an Eye.
