Anyone else notice kakashi looks a decent amount younger in the anime than he did in issue 700 or whatever issue naruto becomes hokage and they show him and gai together?

Probably just an inconsistency tbh. I think Kishi just highlighted to age of the past generation to show the growth of Naruto's gen. Kakashi should be around 41/42 years old in the current anime's timeline, and about 45/46 years old by the time of the Boruto movie.

I believe so. I had seen around here that Boruto was currently 8 years old in the anime as he is just starting at the academy. He is around 12 when they take the Chunin exams.

I thought that Kishi drew Kakashi too old in the last manga. He should look younger so maybe that's why the anime made a change.
Yes, he wanted to show that the sensei's generation grew old and have a contrast with Naruto's generation but he exagerated.

Actually he should only be about 41. He was 13 or 14 when Naruto was born which means that he was 30 or 31 during the war (which is when Naruto turned 17), and it has been 10 years since the war, so he should be 40 or 41
